Current data collection
LatexDo does not currently collect personal analytics, sell user data, or track your documents. LatexDo does not intentionally upload your LaTeX source, PDFs, project files, editor content, or change history by default.
Your files stay on your device unless you choose a feature, external link, download, update, or provider-backed service that sends a request.
Data stored on your device
The LatexDo desktop app can store app settings, trusted folder choices, editor preferences, spell checker settings, proofreading settings, extension choices, install state, and local history snapshots on your device so the workspace works between sessions.
Website, downloads, and updates
The LatexDo website, downloads, update checks, and documentation links may be served through hosting and infrastructure providers. Those providers can process standard technical request data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and error logs.
Optional external services
External links, the extension catalog, update checks, downloads, and optional proofreading can contact LatexDo services or a provider you configure. Those requests are only made when you use the related feature or open the related link.
Project files
LatexDo reads and writes project files only in folders you create, open, or trust. Documents, source files, PDFs, and auxiliary files are used to provide editing, preview, compilation, diagnostics, SyncTeX navigation, and related local product features.
